Galileo

 Kia ora, this blog is about a famous inventor. Any way getting to the point here is my work

Who is Galileo and why is he important?

Galileo was a Italian natural philosopher, astronomer(someone who looks at space on a

telescope) and mathematician (He is really good at maths). Galileo was known for his

amazing discovery of the moons of Jupiter. 

When did he live?

Galileo was born on February 15th 1564 and died in 1642 8th of January. 

Where did he come from?

He came from Italy,

What Did Galileo Discover?

Galileo discovered 5 planets, Ganymede, Europa, Lo, Callisto and Ring Of Saturn.

Was Galileo punished for his discoveries?

Yes he was punished because he disagreed and tried to get his opinion about the earth

being round and that it orbits the sun. 

Three facts about him


His three daughters are nuns. 

He dropped out of school.

Galileo’s middle finger is in a museum.
