My score on my PAT test

kia orana readers and welcome to my blog,

Before lunch my class did a PAT test on math. The teachers told us to try our best on the test. I was a bit nervous. When it was lunch time me and my friends Talisa and Sonnie were so excited to see our score and stanine. Then the bell rang we started to get nervous again and I was the one that was more nervous because this was my fist time doing a PAT test. Mrs Mclachlan told us to line up and she will tell us our score stanine, and my stanine was 6 but I thought it would bad but the teachers said that it was good because I have never done this before so was proud and my score was 26\35 I was also proud of that to.

SLJ practice I couldn't say hi in Canada



Hi guys,

Today for the Summer Learning Practice we got of the plain in Canada and everyone there were talking in there language so we were surprise  and here is my story. After we got of the plain we were walking though the airport and the people were say thing that curious kiwi and I were surprise  and we were surprise because we didn't know that they could speak English, were doing a happy faces and this my confused face.

This is how you say hello in Canada 'hello'
This is how you say thank you in Canada 'thank you'
This is how you say do you know how to speak English is 'do you know how to speak English?'

SLJ Practice A book for Curious kiwi

Kia ora Readers,

For the Summer Learning prep my class has herd that Curious kiwi has lost his book when we were going to Canada so we had to try and remember all the books that we have reed this year that we thought was a good book for Curious kiwi. The book that I thought was a good book was Bad Guys.
It is about four bad guys a shark, a wolf, a snake and a piranha, they tried to be good so they try save 2,000 dogs then they try to save 10,000 chickens. There are 9 series of them they are very interesting maybe you would want to read them.

SLJ practice. Amazing fact about Canada

Salut everyone 

This term we have been learning about the Summer Learning Journey.  In my class we had to pick a country that we would want to go to and learn new fact  about. The country  that I wanted to go to was Canada.
 I will be telling you the capital city of Canada and other interesting facts.
Hope you learn more about this country.

1. the of the capital city of Canada is Ottawa.

2. The population of Canada's capital is 934,240

3. In January the weather is very cold -6 to -14 and it rain for ten days

4. Ottawa is located in east part of Canada

5. The languages most commonly spoken in the capital city is English and french

The nervous system sends messages to and from the brain. The digestive system take all the nutrition 
out of our food. The respiratory system helps us breath. The muscular system helps us move around
