Creatures (Activity 13)

Hello everyone,

Welcome back to my blog. Today I am going to be doing another activity. This time I am doing activity 13. What we had to do is we had find different materials and make a of artwork of what I think it would look like under the sea.

So what I did is I got a box and then tape blue paper to the sides of the box then I got other blue materials  and make it look like the water and added all the other details including the fish and seaweed. 

I was kinda hard to make it so my aunty and nan help me a bit. Any way I took a photo of my artwork. I hope you enjoy it  and like it. Here it is...

Creature (Activity 17)

Kia ora everyone,

Today I am going to be doing another activity thing. So today I am doing activity 17 and in this activity you have to pick any animal and then you have to make an acrostic poem on fact about the animal. So the animal that I picked was a giraffe. Any way like last time I took a photo of my work, I hope you like it here it is...

Creatures (Activity 1)

Kia orana bloggers, and welcome back to my blog,

Today's blog is going to be about some thing that I will be doing over the holidays. So what I am doing is my teacher made this activity chart sort of thing, it is all about animals and what we had to do was we had to do them. Here is a photo of the chart so you get a better idea...

Any ways you probably can't see the first on but that one says I have to tell you what my favourite animal even if it is mythical. My favourite animal is a lizard. So what I did was a made a google drawing of my favourite animal and some facts and pictures.  Any I took a photo shoot of my work, I hope you like it and enjoy it here it is.

Here are three fact about them.

1. Many lizards are carnivores, which means they eat meat. A typical diet for a lizard includes
ants, spiders, termites, cicadas, small mammals and even other lizards. Caiman lizards eat
animals with shells, such as snails.

2. They have walked the earth for some 200 million years.

3.  Most lizards are active during the day. Lizards are cold-blooded animals, which means
they rely on their environment to help warm their bodies. They use the heat of the sun to
raise their body temperatures and are active when their bodies are warm. The sun also helps
lizards produce vitamin D. Their days are spent sunbathing on rocks, hunting for food or
waiting for food to come their way.

My Crystal Learning

Kia ora Everyone,

This blog is going to be about what we are doing for topic.  As you my know my class and I have been learning about earth science and rocks, now that we are finished with rocks are learning about crystals. 

So in my class for topic we have been learning about crystals and how they are formed and what crystals need to form. So a few weeks ago we started to make our own  crystals.

What we used to make the crystals with was borax which is a cleaning product and warm water. We also used a plastic cup to hold the water in and we got a pipe cleaner and formed it into a bowl.

So my crystals is on the window sill in my class room. They are forming art the bottom of the cup not in the pipe cleaner like it was supposed to. But it is still kinda forming on the pipe cleaner like at the back of it there is some crystals.

I think that the crystals will still form at the bottom but will still form on the pipe cleaner just not as much as the bottom. I also think that the it will form around the side a bit.

Any way I have some photos of the crystals and some videos. The  first two videos are the same. Here they are I hope you enjoy them...

Weekly words part 19

Welcome to my blog. Today's blog is going to be about my weekly word. This week's  weekly word is paraphernalia. It is just like all the other ones, it has a definition, an example and lastly a sentence. A way that you could use the is like this. When I was moving my I opened up a box and it had lost of different things in it, it was paraphernalia. Any way here is the photo shot of my work.

My Descriptive Writing

Malo Amazing Readers,

This blog is about some writing that I have been doing in my class. So for writing we have been doing descriptive writing and what we have been learning to do is changing an I sentence into a the sentence, changing a telling sentence to a descriptive one. We also have been learning to use five seance in or writing and the five seance are sight, feel, smell, hear and emotion. So what we have got all of that learning and made a story about a big problem like earth quacks, tsunamis and meany more. But what I am writing a bout is a (Looked Down At School). So I am going to show you my favourite part of my writing. So here it is, hope you enjoy...

I was in class waiting to go to road portal. I could see my friends, the teacher, the white board with our topic staff and the tables with science rocks on it. I was bored, tired and excited to go home. Then the lock down bell rang. The whole class heard Syrian. We all got on the ground and was silent. Then our teacher told us what was happening.
